Free Dental Care for Teens

At Levin Dental Centre, we provide free dental care for adolescents through the public dental service. This applies from the first year of college (Year 9) until a young person’s 18th birthday. This stage of life is especially important for oral health, as children transition from a mix of baby and adult teeth to a full set of permanent teeth. Regular checkups during these years help prevent long-term problems while also building confidence in maintaining good oral hygiene habits. Parents are welcome to attend appointments for advice and a second opinion on issues such as fillings, wisdom teeth development, or crowding concerns.

Why Regular Dental Visits Matter

Establishing a routine of visiting the dentist from a young age encourages positive habits that carry into adulthood. Teenagers who are comfortable with dental visits are far more likely to continue regular checkups later in life, reducing the risk of serious oral health issues.
